Samsung  is bringing a whole new world of mobile market. The company is all set to  bring a new memory chip in the handsets.

Samsung has claimed that the new memory will be available by the end of this  year. And by Christmas your phone will be seen flaunting a all new RAM.

Android Taking Over Half of the Operating Market

Android Operating system is on the top position  for  12 weeks since April 15. This recordhas been obtained due to large sale of both  HTC and Samsung handset keeping it to 86 percent among all  the Android handsets.

With is Android   now has the  top position  in the market of operating system  in the UK market  heading ahead of Apple iOS.

This has been reported by Kantar Worldpanel ComTecg, data  giving the  record till 12 week until April 15.

During this period Android’s share  went up  till 50.1 percent from 44.6 per cent last year. Both  HTC and Samsung have sold good 86 per cent of Android handsets.

Even with the release of Sony Xperia S in March. There  has only 10.4 per cent of  sales of Android  in the  last 12 month duration. LG has standing of less than one per cent.

With only one week of sales till now  HTC One X has already broken  record by making it  to being 10 best selling smartphones in this duration. And  now release of Sony Xperia S and Samsung Galaxy S3 have  further added to the surge of Android phones.

There is gong to be major change in the smart phone manufacturer as there is  going to be almost  22 million users aged 13+ to be added to the mobile users. Here, good 80% are  going to be smart phone users.

Apple iOS  has  grown  potentially  with 11.4 per cent  making it to hold 30 per cent share. Research In Motion ( RIM) has seen fall in share from 7.2 percent to 14.3 percent year after year.

Google to Bring Android 5.0 for Smartphones

Google is gearing to give five mobile manufacturers access to  efficient and powerful Android 5.0.  This has come as Google is now trying to focus on  more things rather than just Google Nexus device.

This new strategy or plan as reported by the Wall Street Journal from the reliable authority in the matter will put the launch of both Nexus tablet and smartphones at one go.

Right now, Google is in association with only one manufacturer that is Samsung to create assorted flagship handsets Nexus device. With launch of the new Android version on its way( Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich being the current one).

The  problem with other manufacturers is  that  it takes  more than  few months to come out with a handset with similar hardware  that essentially forms part of the software.

This roll out comes out from Facebook to put focus on the mobile  devices as the company is releasing its IPO later this week. Zukerberg the owner of  Facebook assumes that the company hasn’t done much  in the  mobile  department.

Summer 2012 Apple to Bring Patent iOS Apps

Apple is sure to reveal the latest  iOS 6 software at its upcoming  WWDC conference  to be held in June. Besides, there are maps, Siri APIs for developers and  a complete App Store also on the list. However,  full details are yet  not  known.

Apple is  on  its way of showing some of the app that are soon going to be added to the  device making it a big hit this summer. These apps are going to be present on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

The apps selected to be  present on the iOS device have been listed depending on  competition to Android devices.

The figures obtained from the  Apple’s quarterly survey reveals the same with  365 and more iOS devices shipped, 60,000 apps in App store and  good 25bn downloads done. And  run rate of 1bn.

Google have said in February that 300m Android devices are activated. In May only, Google Play Store surpassed the milestone of 15bn.

Also, references were given for the lack of iOS malware towards the developers minting money from paid apps and  OS fragmentation. Meanwhile Apple is getting ready to put the battle against developer this summer.

There are many apps to be installed in the Apple devices among which nine apps and one iBook were shown. Besides, Apple claims to have indefinite list of apps to be installed.

All these are exclusively designed  for the iOS phone. This makes clear where the tough fight between Android and iOS is heading. With Apple  putting out all the apps that aren’t available on any other  device.

Nokia Lumia 900 Gains More Than HTC One X!

Nokia Lumia 900 Ready for Launch in UK

Nokia is all set to launch its top of the line smartphone with Lumia 900 in the UK market. It is one of the most talked about handset from the Finnish firm. Lumia 900 runs on the Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 operating system which is also known as Mango.

In the UK, this Lumia 900 will be featured with DC-HSPA features. Nokia, has been trying to make a come back with Lumia range of handsets . The company has already released Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 in UK. The low end phone Lumia 610 has already been released.
